Meet meHey there, I'm Jack, a ball of energy with a heart full of love! I'm nearly 3 years old and ready to leap into your life with paws full of excitement. Running around with my toys is my jam, but you know what I love even more? A good neck rub - oh, that's the spot!
I can be a little bit anxious around new people, so a quieter home would be ideal. I do get a little worried meeting new people, so a patient and loving family who will let take it nice and slow with me to start off would be best.
Walking on a leash is a bit of a mystery to me, but I'm a fast learner, especially when there are treats involved - yep, I'm a total foodie! A patient and persistent family sounds just paw-fect for me. Together, we can conquer those leash-walking adventures!
I'm dreaming of a forever home where I can zoom around, cuddle up, and maybe even learn some cool tricks for those tasty treats. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
