Meet meHello, I'm Barry, a spirited 2-year-old Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger love for balls. My charming wrinkles and winning smile make me irresistible. I'm a bundle of energy, always ready for fun, whether it's chasing balls, running around the yard, or a cozy couch nap.
I have a quirk-I'm possessive of my balls, so I'm looking for a home where I'm the only pet, no other dogs or children, please. I can come across a little aloof or indifferent when I first meet people, but that's just me being a little shy and insecure. Once we bond, I'll be your loyal, loving companion. Patience, a big heart, and a sense of humor are essential.
I really enjoys spending time at the beach and having fun rolling in seaweed and other beach treasures! I find it a great way to relax and unwind, hopefully you do too!!
I dream of a cozy home with a secure yard for ball-chasing. Regular exercise is a must, but I also enjoy downtime with you. If you're ready for a ball-loving Bulldog to brighten your days, reach out to the folks caring for me. Let's start our incredible journey together!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
