Got a lot of energy to spare? Great, because so do I! I'm all about zoomies, fetch, and playtime galore. Daily walks and plenty of outdoor activities are my jam. If you're an active family who enjoys hiking, jogging, or just playing fetch in the yard, we're a match made in doggy heaven.
While I'm an absolute blast to be around, I might be a bit too much for young kids. My energy levels can be a bit overwhelming for the little ones, but teenagers and adults will find me to be the perfect companion. Patience and understanding go a long way with me - I promise to reward you with endless love and fun times!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
