Meet me

A little bit about me

  • Male

Hey friends, I'm Koda! I'm a bit of a shy but incredibly loving boy, and I'm on a quest to find a patient and gentle family to call my forever home.

When I first found myself at the shelter, I was overwhelmed by fear. It was clear to my carers that I'd had a bit of a rough start to life. It took some time and a lot of patience from the kind folks here to help me break out of my shell and learn to trust again. But now, I can say with confidence that I've come a long way!

There's a side of me that's full of playfulness and curiosity. I've realized that the world can be an exciting and wondrous place, and I'd love the opportunity to explore it more. That's where a loving family can make all the difference.

I've discovered that I thrive in a quieter environment, without young kids running around and as the only dog in the family. This way, I can truly bond with my humans and come out of my shell on my own terms. And I should mention, I have a weakness for treats. They're like little tokens of trust and can go a long way in building up my confidence and comfort in my new home.

Once I've established that trust and a strong bond with my humans, I promise you'll see a different side of me. I'll blossom into a sweet and affectionate companion, ready to return all the love and care that I receive.

I'm excited about the possibility of finding a forever family who understands and appreciates my need for a little extra patience and love as I continue to grow into the wonderful companion I know I can be!

Lots of love, Koda xoxo
