Meet meMeowdy, I'm Minnie! Life started off a bit uncertain for me, but thanks to the caring folks at AWL, I'm now ready to find a family to call my own!
I am a shy cat, but give me some time, and you'll see my true purrsonality shine through. I've been working hard to build up my confidence, and I'm looking for a family that will continue to support me on this journey. Patience is key with me, as I learn to trust and feel secure in my new surroundings.
I'm hoping to find a home without young children, as their energy can be a bit overwhelming for me. A calm and patient family would be ideal - someone who understands that I need extra time to adjust and open up. I promise, once I feel comfortable, I'll bring so much joy and love to your home. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
