Hi, I'm Ivy! I'm a sweet but shy girl, and I'm on the lookout for a family who will be very patient and understanding with me. My past is a bit of a mystery, but it's made me cautious, and I'm still learning that humans aren't so scary after all. I may take some time to trust you, but once I feel safe, you'll see me start to come out of my shell.

I love other dogs! That's where my true personality really shines. When I'm around other pups, I feel much more confident, and I love to run and play with them. That's why having another social dog in the home is a must for me-someone who can show me the ropes and help me understand that life with humans can be wonderful. Having a confident doggy friend will make a huge difference in helping me build trust.

I'm still learning to be comfortable with affection, so cuddles aren't really my thing right now, and I need a family who understands that. With time and patience, I might open up to more affection, but I'll need to go at my own pace. For now, the best way to help me feel safe is to give me space when I need it and let me take the lead when I'm ready.

What I do love is running and playing with my dog friends! It makes me so happy and helps boost my confidence. So, a home with a yard and plenty of playtime with another dog would be perfect for me.

If you're a patient, loving family who can give me the time I need to come out of my shell, I know I'll thrive with you. Let's take this journey together!
