Hey there, I'm miss Cinnamon Bun!

I have been in foster care for the majority of the time that I have been with AWL because I was very timid and quite nervous. Although I am still a timid girl (and probably always will be during certain situations), I have been having the best time of my life playing with my foster siblings. We go a little crazy running around the house and darting across the couch and bed, but it's just so much fun! Having my very own dog friends in the home that are similar in play style and size has improved my confidence drastically so to continue this journey of growing my confidence around people, I would really like to be adopted to a home that has another playful dog so I can observe and learn.

Since we have been really focused on me getting used to pats and touch as well as building a bond, I haven't learned much about walking on a lead. Step one in my new home will be letting me settle in and helping me to feel safe with you. Once I do, then we can start learning new things together!

My foster carer wanted to share some more info about me, so here she is!

"To watch such a shy timid girl, go from running away and hiding to literally running to the door when I get home jumping all over me and giving me 1000 kisses is incredible! Her personality and quirks are just ridiculously adorable and sometimes feel like I can't handle how cute she is. She will need a very patient home and one that understands how slow exposure to the world looks like and how this is done.

Cinnamon has told me that being allowed on the couch and bed whenever she likes is a must and there is no wriggle room for this. The bed is her safe zone and being up high helps make her feel more secure. She does not want to be put outside when you are not home and would prefer a house that either has a doggy door (she will need help learning to use it) a door left open, or maybe you won't be leaving her for long periods of time and will just leave her inside to roam free when you run errands. Cinnamon will wrap it all up!"

My foster carer tells me all the time how much she wants to adopt me and says that out of all the dogs she has fostered I am the most special! When you put your application in, please give as much detail as possible and upload photos of anything you like because when my carer goes through the applications, I'll be there right beside her while she reads them out!

With lots of love and hope,

Cinnamon xoxo
