Meet meHi, I'm Annabel! I'm a big sweetie with a heart full of love just waiting to share with the right family. I adore being around people, and once I get to know you, you'll see how affectionate and loyal I can be. I may not be the best fit for a home with kids as I still need some training, but I'm hopeful my future family will be as active as I am. I enough energy to go around, so my future family will have to be pretty active to keep up with my needs. I love my daily walks here at AWL and anytime spent with you is a bonus!
I'm happiest when I'm around people who understand me and can give me the peaceful environment I need to truly shine. If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, I'd love to be that special dog in your life!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
