Meet meM. Pusskins, short for Macie Pusskins is a very sweet and gentle girl who has had a difficult start to life. Born here in the shelter, she eventually found a home, only to sadly end up back with us over a year later. Understandably, she is struggling being back in the shelter environment and spends much of her time tucked away safely under her blankets where she feels secure.
While she may be shy at first, underneath her nervous exterior is a loving and affectionate cat who simply wants to feel safe again. Once she begins to trust you, Macie Pusskins shows just how gentle and sweet she truly is.
She is looking for a calm and understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace and finally enjoy the stability and comfort she deserves. With patience, kindness and a quiet place to call home, we know Macie Pusskins will blossom into a beautiful companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
