Meet meHi, I'm Snow Gum! When I first arrived at the shelter, I was so scared and unsure of everything. But with time, patience, and lots of love from the kind people here, I've blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate, and playful guy you could ever meet.
Now, I love nothing more than cuddles, head scratches, and chasing after my favorite toys. I've learned to trust and enjoy life again, and I'm ready to bring all of that love and joy into a forever home. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
