Meet meHello, I'm Master Stefan-a distinguished and resilient gentleman who's come a long way and is now ready to find my forever home. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was overwhelmed and very scared, unsure of the world around me. It took a lot of time, patience, and kindness from the wonderful people here to help me come out of my shell. Every small step I've taken has been a big victory, and now I'm ready to meet someone special who will help me take the next leap forward.
I have a gentle soul and a deep appreciation for the finer things in life-like tasty treats! I'm super food-motivated, which makes it easy to win my trust and encourage me to try new things. I'm still learning to fully relax and feel safe, so I need a quiet home where I can continue to blossom. No kids or other animals for me, please-I do best in a calm environment where I can have a little space of my own to retreat to when I need it.
I know I might sound like a project, but trust me-I have so much love and loyalty to give to the right person. If you're patient, kind, and willing to help me keep building my confidence, I promise to reward you with an amazing bond. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
