Meet meMeet Mr. Meow - this little guy has had a rough start, and it's going to take plenty of TLC to help him settle and feel safe. He's been through a lot, so he's understandably cautious and may need some extra time to trust you. When you offer him treats, he might hesitate at first, backing away or even hissing - it's just his way of saying he's still unsure. But deep down, Mr. Meow just needs a calm, patient hand to guide him. With gentle encouragement and a lot of understanding, he'll slowly start to feel more at ease. He's a sweet soul who just needs someone who can give him the time and care he deserves. Once he begins to trust, his true, loving side will shine through - and it will be so worth the wait. Mr. Meow is looking for someone who can help him heal and show him that the world can be a safe, loving place.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
