Meet meMeet Shadowheart - this little cutie is an absolute fluff ball, and it's hard not to notice her adorable charm! Shadowheart is still learning to trust, so she often watches from a distance before making her move. She's a bit cautious at first, but with some patience, toys, and gentle encouragement, she'll sometimes come out for a little play or to grab a treat. Shadowheart is very playful with her siblings, and you might catch her having a blast running around or engaging in some mischief with them. Though she's still getting used to new faces, once she feels comfortable, her playful side shines through. She's looking for someone who can take things slow and offer her the time she needs to feel safe, but once she trusts, you'll have a sweet, playful companion in Shadowheart!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
