Chase is a sensitive soul looking for a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle. He finds new experiences to be a bit overwhelming, so he will need a patient family who can give him the shelter he needs to slowly build up his confidence.
Chase will need a slow and steady approach to meeting new people and experiencing new things. Once he is feeling brave, he enjoys a leisurely sniff session, a play in the yard and a cuddle on the couch. He will likely demand a spot at the end of your bed at night!
Chase is best suited to an adult only home, with people who can respect his boundaries as he learns to trust. He has shown to be quite fearful of other dogs, so would benefit from being the only dog in the home.
With patience, love, and gentle encouragement, he'll continue to blossom into the happy, trusting dog he's meant to be.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
