I'm not shy about expressing myself. I might greet you with my signature "I run this place" stare. It's nothing personal-I just like to set expectations early. But give me a little time, and you'll start to notice that my tough exterior is... well... mostly for show. Underneath, I'm curious, playful, and actually pretty affectionate (but don't tell anyone).
Food is the key to my heart. Churu? My absolute weakness. Once I realise you're the glorious provider of snacks, I may even start pretending I like you.
I love exploring, supervising every room like the tiny queen I am, and keeping an eye on absolutely everything. I'd do best in a calm home with someone who respects my boundaries and understands that I set the pace.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
