Life didn't start out so easy for me, but everything changed when I made my way to the shelter. With lots of love and care from my amazing humans, I've come out of my shell and blossomed into the sweet, quirky, and affectionate girl I was always meant to be.
I'm a total cuddlebug and happiest when I'm snuggled up close to my people. Honestly, I'm not much of an adventurer - I'm a couch dog through and through. Give me a cozy spot, a gentle stroll around the block, and a long, peaceful nap, and I'm living my best life.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
