Zayla's story is a bittersweet one. She first came into care as a puppy and, sadly, has now found herself back in the shelter as an adult. Despite this, Zayla's heart is still full of hope - she is simply searching for the one thing she has never truly had: a forever home.
Zayla is a sweet and affectionate girl who just wants to belong. She will thrive with owners who are willing to invest time, patience, and training to help her feel secure and confident in her new life. With consistency and love, she has so much potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion.
Zayla deserves a family who will choose her for life. In the right home, she will return that love tenfold.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
