Ember is a beautiful girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! She can be a little hissy or growly at first - she just likes to make sure you know she's in charge - but underneath that fiery exterior is the sweetest, most affectionate companion you could ask for.
Once Ember feels comfortable, she absolutely loves human company. She enjoys spending time near her people, often curling up for a nap on the bed if you're in the room. She's also a fan of gentle pats - she prefers strokes along her back and will happily soak up the attention. The top of her head is fine too, as long as you approach from the front (reaching over her can make her a bit nervous). She also loves taking treats gently from your hand - a little moment that shows just how trusting she can be once she gets to know you.
Ember would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a touch of sass and a heart full of love, Ember might just be your perfect match.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
