Meet meSunshine - or Sunny, as she's affectionately known - is a truly special girl with a heart full of warmth. She has been the most incredible mum, who was always attentive and gentle with her kittens, displaying a calm and nurturing nature that now shines through in everything she does.
When Sunny gets a moment to herself, she adores soaking up affection. She's not a lap cat, but she's more than happy to sit right beside you as a loving companion. Chin rubs are her favourite, and she'll reward your affection with sweet head bumps - she may even plant a tiny kiss on your forehead as her special way of saying thank you.
Sunny is ready to retire from mum duties and find a peaceful, loving home where she can continue to share her soft, steady affection. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion to brighten your days, Sunshine will be the perfect addition to your family.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
