Hi, I'm Duchess, and I'm ready to find my forever family! I'm a sweet and loving girl who has been absolutely thriving in my foster home. I adore cuddles and would love nothing more than to snuggle up next to you after a nice walk or a good play session.
I'm the perfect indoor companion - gentle, affectionate, and always happy to be by your side. I enjoy my daily walks and playtime, but I'm just as content to relax and spend quiet moments with my people.
I'd be best suited to a home with older kids or teens, as I prefer a calm environment where I can really shine. I may enjoy having a friendly dog companion, but I'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only!

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
