Bigsy may be small in size, but don't let that fool you-this little guy is bursting with energy, drive, and plenty of personality to go around. He's looking for a confident and experienced owner who understands his breed's intelligence, zest for life, and need for structure.
Bigsy thrives with consistency, ongoing training, and an outlet for his natural drive. When his mind and body are fulfilled, he transforms into the sweetest, cuddliest, most affectionate companion. He loves being close to his people and will happily soak up all the attention you have to offer.
For now, Bigsy would do best as the only dog in the home so he can continue building confidence and focusing on his training without added pressure. With the right person by his side-someone who can guide his enthusiasm and celebrate his huge personality-Bigsy will shine bright and make an incredible best friend.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
