Shadow Claus is a sweet, slightly dramatic little lady who starts off nervous but absolutely has the potential to run your household someday. She just needs a bit of time, patience, and someone who appreciates her "I'm shy... but also please bring snacks" energy.
Speaking of snacks: Shadow Claus LOVES Churu. Like... loves it. She will suddenly forget all fears, anxieties, and possibly the laws of physics if Churu is involved. She would absolutely sell you out for a tube of it-but she'd feel bad afterward. Probably.
Once she warms up, she's a playtime pro, especially when it involves wand toys. She goes from "nervous little shadow" to "elite athlete" in 0.2 seconds.
She's looking for a gentle, understanding home that doesn't mind earning trust one treat at a time. Give her patience, love, and Churu (mainly Churu), and she'll grow into her most confident, adorable self.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
