Galaxy might sound like a cosmic explorer, but she's actually a shy little star who's still learning that the world isn't as scary as it seems. She's a very nervous girl at first, but with gentle patience, she begins to shine brighter and brighter.
She's looking for a home that understands the magic of slow progress-someone who will give her the time, love, and quiet reassurance she needs to grow into her most confident, radiant self.
Galaxy also has one undeniable weakness: Churu. If you want to see instant trust, instant joy, instant everything-just grab a tube. She will happily accept it, no questions asked.
And lately, Galaxy has been revealing her playful side, offering soft little baps that say, "I'm not quite ready for full chaos... but I'm thinking about it."

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
