Freddy Mercury is a young, incredibly handsome tabby boy with charm for days and a personality that truly shines. This sweet boy has a big heart in every sense of the word and an even bigger love for people. Unfortunately, Freddy has a very high heart murmur. This means his condition could affect him long-term, and while heart murmurs can sometimes remain stable, they can also impact lifespan. Because of this, Freddy is looking for a very special forever home-one where he can spend his life surrounded by love, comfort, and care, rather than in a shelter environment.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
