Meet meHi, I'm Joey. I can be a little unsure when I first meet new people or find myself in a new environment, so I like to take things slow at the beginning. A calm voice and gentle presence help me feel safe while I get my bearings.
Once I start to feel comfortable, my playful kitten personality shines through. I love chasing toys, exploring, and getting into all the fun mischief that comes with being a kitten. Playtime is my favorite way to build confidence and bond.
I would do best in a patient, loving home that understands I may need a little time to settle in. If you are looking for a kitten who grows into a happy, playful companion, I would love to be part of your family.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
