Meet meAphrodite is a beautiful one-year-old brown tabby with a gentle spirit and a quiet charm. Having started her life as a stray, she's still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. With a little patience and understanding, Aphrodite is slowly building her trust in people and showing glimpses of the sweet companion she's becoming.
She would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who is happy to let her move at her own pace. While she may be shy at first, Aphrodite is very food motivated and this is a great way to help win her over and build a bond. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys settling into a cozy nook where she can relax and watch the world around her.
With time, kindness, and a peaceful environment, Aphrodite has the potential to truly blossom. She's looking for a patient home that will give her the space she needs to grow in confidence and continue her journey toward trusting companionship.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
