Meet meHi, I'm Rose. I'm a sweet girl who enjoys affection, but I like it on my terms. I love gentle pats, quiet company, and being close to my people, though I'm not a fan of being picked up. I can get a little overstimulated sometimes, so I'm looking for an adult only home with people who understand cat body language and are happy to let me set the pace.
Once you learn my cues, I'm a lovely companion who enjoys attention and bonding in my own special way. I'm not the kind of cat who wants to be carried around, but I am the kind who will happily lean into pats, sit nearby while you relax, and build a strong connection based on trust and respect.
My perfect family will appreciate me for who I am, a gentle, affectionate girl who just needs understanding and a calm environment to thrive. In return, I'll reward you with sweet moments, companionship, and lots of love.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
