A little bit about me

  • 3 years old
  • Male
  • Animal ID: 275388
  • Desexed
  • Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $75

Meet Gary - a big, lovable boy with an even bigger heart. This handsome guy is the definition of friendly. He adores people and isn't shy about showing it, whether he's greeting you at the door, leaning into your hand for pets, or flopping nearby just to be close. Gary thrives on companionship and truly wants to be part of your daily life. If you're looking for a cat who will happily hang out with you on the couch and keep you company around the house, Gary is ready to clock in.

Because he's such an enthusiastic, affectionate cat, Gary can sometimes get slightly overstimulated during petting or play. He just gets so excited about the love! He'll do best with someone who can read his cues and give him a little break when he needs it. With that understanding, he's an incredibly rewarding companion who forms strong bonds and gives so much affection in return.

Gary is FIV-positive, which simply means he'll need regular vet care and a loving indoor home to help him stay healthy. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, completely normal lives, and the virus is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds - not casual contact - so many FIV+ cats live peacefully either as the only cat or with calm feline friends. It cannot be transmitted to humans or other animals outside the cat family.

Gary has so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to see what a special boy he is. If you have room in your heart and your home for a big, friendly cuddlebug who will adore you right back, Gary might be your perfect match.
