Fiona is a gentle little girl with a sensitive heart. The world has felt quite big and overwhelming for her so far, so she prefers to stay in the background and take everything in from a safe distance.
Though she can be timid, Fiona has a lovely, quiet curiosity. With a few tempting treats or a fun toy, she may slowly step forward to explore. When she feels secure, you might spot her having a soft play session or snuggled up closely with her siblings, drawing comfort from their presence.
Fiona isn't quite ready for lots of pats and handling just yet. She will need a calm, patient home that understands her shyness and is happy to let her build confidence in her own time. With gentle encouragement and understanding, she has every chance to blossom into a devoted and loving companion.
If you have the patience to let trust grow at its own pace, Fiona could be a truly special addition to your family.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
