Puss in Boots is a sweet, sensitive little girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. Everything feels quite big and overwhelming to her right now, so she prefers to observe from a quiet, secure spot.
Behind her shy nature is a gentle curiosity. With a few tasty treats or an exciting toy, she may slowly gather the courage to come forward and explore. When she's feeling comfortable, you might find her having a soft play session or curled up closely with her siblings, enjoying their reassurance.
Puss in Boots isn't quite ready for lots of pats and handling just yet. She will need a calm, patient home that understands her timid nature and is happy to give her the time she needs to build confidence. With kindness and understanding, she has every potential to blossom into a loving and devoted companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
