Meet meLopez is a shy, sweet kitten with a thoughtful and curious nature. He may hang back at first, but don't let that fool you-once he feels comfortable, he's affectionate, playful, and incredibly endearing. Lopez does best with a gentle approach and a home that understands that trust takes time.
Lopez isn't bonded with his sibling, but he clearly enjoys having Wesley around, and the two would love the chance to be adopted together. They support each other nicely while still having their own personalities and independence.
If you're patient, kind, and ready to watch a shy kitten come out of their shell, Lopez will reward you with quiet affection and lots of love.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
