Meet Sage

Sage is one of the sweet brothers in this litter and, much like Basil, he's a gentle, shy little soul who prefers to take things slowly. He's still learning that the world - and people - can be safe, so for now he chooses to keep his distance while he builds confidence.

Sage isn't ready for pats or close handling at this stage. He feels most comfortable observing from a safe spot, watching everything with quiet curiosity. He'll need an adopter who understands that trust can't be rushed and who is happy to let him set the pace.

While he may be reserved with people, Sage is still very much a kitten at heart. He enjoys playtime and will happily engage with toys once he feels secure. With time, patience, and positive experiences (and maybe a few tasty treats along the way), he has every chance to grow braver.

Sage would thrive in a calm, understanding home and may benefit from being adopted with one of his siblings or joining a household with another friendly, confident cat to help him feel safe.

If you believe that the shyest kittens often form the deepest bonds, Sage could be the perfect little companion to grow alongside you - one gentle step at a time.
