Trigger is a gentle, shy little kitten who is still learning that the world - and the people in it - can be kind and safe. At first, he may hiss softly or dart away when he feels unsure. It's simply his way of saying he needs a little more time. Beneath that cautious exterior, though, is a curious and playful kitten just waiting to blossom.
His bravery truly shines when treats or toys come out. Wand toys, tasty snacks, and quiet play sessions quickly spark his interest and bring out his natural kitten curiosity. Each day, he grows a little more confident, taking small but meaningful steps toward trust.
Trigger is looking for a patient, understanding family who will give him the time and space he needs to feel secure. With a calm home, gentle encouragement, and lots of love, he will reward his people with the joy of watching his confidence grow and his sweet personality unfold.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
