Lilah is a sweet, affectionate girl with a heart full of love. She adores being close to her people and is happiest when she's by your side. Some might even say she's a little needy-but she simply loves companionship and enjoys being included in whatever you're doing.
One of Lilah's favourite things is exploring the world through her nose. She loves taking her time on walks, sniffing every interesting scent and discovering new places at her own pace.
While Lilah is a loving dog, she can be a little unsure in new environments and is still building her confidence. She'll thrive with a patient, understanding family who can help her continue to grow into a brave and secure companion. With gentle encouragement and plenty of reassurance, Lilah is sure to blossom.
Lilah is looking for a home where she can be the centre of attention, so she would prefer to be the only pet in the household. She would also be best suited to an adult-only home where she can relax and settle into a calm, predictable routine.

Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
