Meet meBaby Gal is a gentle, sensitive cat who may feel a little nervous when first meeting new people or settling into a new home. She prefers a calm environment where she can take things at her own pace. With a bit of time, patience, and understanding, she begins to come out of her shell.
Once she feels safe, Baby Gal reveals her sweet side-she absolutely loves treats and will happily accept them as a way to build trust. As her confidence grows, she may start to enjoy gentle pats, and before long, she might even lean in for more. In her most content moments, Baby Gal shows just how happy she is by drooling while being petted-a sure sign she's feeling relaxed and loved.
She'll thrive with someone who can give her the space she needs at first and the affection she learns to cherish.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
