Shadow and Mushie are a beautiful bonded pair of senior boys with the gentlest souls.
Shadow, the handsome black cat, is the quieter and shyer of the two. He takes great comfort from having his beloved brother by his side and looks to Mushie for confidence and reassurance. Once he feels safe, his sweet and affectionate nature shines through.
Mushie, the fluffy white cat, is a loving sweetheart who absolutely adores pats and attention in his home environment. Given a little time to settle in, he happily soaks up affection and enjoys spending time close to his people.
Together, these boys are incredibly cuddly, gentle, and loving. They share a special bond and can often be found snuggled up together. While they may need a little patience as they adjust to a new home, both Shadow and Mushie thrive when they feel safe and secure, rewarding their people with plenty of love and companionship.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
