Meet meIssa is a gentle, shy boy who takes a little time to come out of his shell, but once he trusts you, his sweet personality shines through. He loves his food and treats, enjoys watching birds from a cosy spot, and will happily chat to you with his adorable little meows.
While Issa isn't the biggest fan of pats and cuddles, he loves simply relaxing nearby and keeping you company. As his confidence grows, you'll start to see his playful side emerge - especially his tiny little baps at toys that are guaranteed to melt your heart.
Issa is looking for a calm, understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to settle in and grow in confidence at his own pace, while appreciating all of his unique and lovable quirks.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
