Meet meArchie is a big, lovable goofball with an even bigger heart. This affectionate boy loves spending time with people and is always ready for some fun, whether that's playing, learning, or simply soaking up attention from his favourite humans.
Archie is a smart lad who already knows cues such as sit, shake, and down, and he is very responsive and eager to engage with his people. His friendly nature and willingness to learn make him a pleasure to spend time with.
Like many big dogs, Archie sometimes forgets just how large he is, and his playful enthusiasm can get the better of him. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with canine friends, but any dog sharing a home with him would need to be comfortable with a larger, playful companion who likes to have fun.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
