This lovely girl is also a fan of treats, which are a great way to help win her over and build her confidence. While Rune is making wonderful progress, she can still become overwhelmed at times and may be frightened by loud noises, sudden activity, or large open spaces.
Rune is looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and secure. A quiet environment with understanding adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace will help her thrive. In return, she'll reward you with her sweet nature, gentle affection, and the special bond that comes from earning the trust of a shy cat.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
