Meet Mouse!
Don't let her tiny name fool you-Mouse is full of fun! She loves chasing toys, wrestling with her foster brothers Harry and Harley (who are also looking for their forever homes), and is happiest with other feline friends around.
Mouse is still finding her confidence with people, but she's recently decided that gentle chin scratches are pretty wonderful. She's looking for a quiet home with another cat (or two!) and a patient family who'll let her come out of her shell in her own time.
To help Mouse settle in, she'll need to start out in her own quiet room where she can feel safe and adjust at her own pace. Any introductions to resident cats should be slow and gradual, giving everyone plenty of time to become comfortable. Taking things slowly will help set Mouse up for a happy, confident future in her new home.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
