Meet Shadow-Mouse! 🐾
Shadow-Mouse (or "Shadow," as her foster carers like to call her!) is a clever, affectionate puppy who's always by your side. She's learning quickly, already knows how to sit and shake, is improving on the lead, and is eager to keep learning. Like any young Lab cross, she's full of energy and excitement, loves cuddles, and is still working on her puppy manners.
Mouse is great with children and adores her 7- and 13-year-old human friends. With continued training, patience, and love, she'll grow into a wonderful family companion. Her compatibility with most other dogs is still unknown, so slow introductions would be recommended. If Shadow-Mouse sounds like the girl for you, pop in an application today :)

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
