Millie is a beautiful big girl with the sweetest, gentlest nature. She has a heart full of love and is looking for a family who will appreciate life's quieter moments just as much as she does.
Millie is thriving in her foster home, where she's enjoying the company of her foster dog brother and settling beautifully into family life. She would love a home with a friendly canine companion but would also be happy soaking up all the love and attention from her people.
Millie would be best suited to a home with older children or teenagers who can understand her calm nature and are happy to slow down and enjoy life at her pace. She's not looking for a fast-paced lifestyle-her perfect day consists of leisurely strolls, relaxing in the sunshine, and snuggling up on the couch with the people she loves.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
