He's very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, and he walks beautifully on lead, making him a great walking buddy. Skipper has lovely manners and enjoys getting out and about with his favourite humans.
Skipper can be a little timid when meeting new people and may take a little time to warm up. He can also feel a bit nervous in new environments, but with patience, reassurance, and gentle introductions, he starts to relax. Once he's comfortable, his goofy, playful personality shines through, and you'll see just how fun and lovable he really is.
Skipper is ready to find a family who will give him the love, security, and cuddles he deserves. In return, he'll be a devoted companion, plenty of laughs, and a wonderful addition to the right home.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
