Whitney

Whitney is a gorgeous Rottweiler mix puppy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and plenty of puppy energy! She's playful, confident, food-motivated and absolutely adores her people.

Whitney loves being around other dogs and enjoys curling up beside her canine friends, joining in the fun, playing with toys and exploring her surroundings. When the day is done, she's just as happy settling in for a nap - preferably snuggled up close to her humans!

In foster care, Whitney has settled beautifully and loves being near her people. She's a true indoor girl who feels safest and happiest when she can be part of family life. She especially loves cuddle time and currently sleeps on the bed, happily snuggling right in.

Like any young puppy, Whitney is still learning. She isn't fully toilet trained yet and will need patience, consistency and gentle guidance as she continues to learn. When she gets excited, she can also become quite mouthy and may try to turn hands and feet into toys. She doesn't yet understand that those little puppy teeth can hurt, so her new family will need to help her learn appropriate play and chewing behaviours through positive training.

Whitney can also become stressed when left alone outdoors and may bark when she feels anxious. She'll thrive in a home where she can spend most of her time indoors with her family, rather than being left outside on her own.

Whitney is a sweet, affectionate and fun-loving puppy who has so much to offer. She's looking for a family who understands that puppies require time, patience, structure and training - and who is ready to love her through every stage of growing up.
