Moomu and Sundae are a gorgeous pair of girls who are looking for a patient and understanding home where they can continue to build their confidence at their own pace. Both girls are still quite timid, but they have been making lovely progress and are showing more of their personalities as they become comfortable.
These two enjoy gentle play, particularly when things are kept slow and relaxed. They are also big fans of Churu, which is a wonderful way to build trust and create positive associations with their new people.
Moomu and Sundae are naturally curious and love having the opportunity to explore their surroundings. They also enjoy finding a lovely sunny spot to stretch out and sun bake together. While they are becoming more comfortable around people, they are still unsure about being patted and will need their new family to respect their boundaries rather than rushing physical affection.
These girls would be best suited to a quieter, calm household where their new family understands that confidence takes time. With gentle interactions, enrichment and plenty of positive experiences, these lovely girls have the potential to become wonderful companions.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
