Understanding your options

Understanding your options

Nothing can be more overwhelming than the passing of a member of your family and, of course, that includes your pet.

There are a few personal decisions to make.

We're here to help you choose how you'd like to say goodbye and remember your pet.

Step 1 - Select a cremation option

Individual cremation

Your pet is cremated privately, in their own single chamber. The ashes come home to you with a certificate verifying that they are the complete ashes of your beloved pet.

Communal Cremation

Your pet is cremated with other loved pets, and their ashes are respectfully returned to the earth. You can also choose to have a portion of their ashes placed in the Ossuary in our memorial garden.

Step 2 – Think about services to help you say goodbye

Private viewing

We can offer a tranquil setting where you and your family can view your pet's cremation. You also have the opportunity to take home their ashes the same day.

Memorial service

We can refer you to an experienced funeral celebrant to help you to create a personalised memorial service to help say goodbye to your beloved pet.

Step 3 - Choose a personalised memorial urn

We supply a simple yet dignified urn for scattering ashes. If you wish to keep the ashes to honour your faithful friend, you can choose from our extensive range of traditional and modern urns.

Step 4 - Consider personal reminders for family and friends

Keepsakes

Commemorative jewellery is a subtle and personal way to keep your pet's ashes close to your heart.

Other keepsakes include framed paw prints and glass ornaments.

Memorials

Memorial stones create a lasting tribute in your own garden. There is a selection to choose from in our catalogue. Each can hold a portion of your pet's ashes.

AWL resting places

We can place your faithful friend's ashes in our beautiful memorial wall, complete with your choice of wording on the plaque.

Step 5 – Talk to your vet

Take a look through the catalogue to create a meaningful tribute to honour your pet's memory and celebrate the unconditional love and joy they brought into your life.

Then talk to your vet about your choices.
