Meet Gertrude, a beautiful and curious cat with a heart full of potential. She can be quite shy at first, but her adventurous spirit shines through as she loves to explore her surroundings.

Gertrude has come to love and appreciate the company on her best friend Goldie so they would absolutely adore a house together where their confidence can grow. They eat, sleep, groom and play together and are never far from each other's sides.

While she's still warming up to the idea of receiving pats, her playful interactions with other cats reveal her friendly and social side. Her favourite way to spend her time is sitting on a sunny window sill and watching the world go by.

Gertrude's ideal home would be one that understands her need for space and time to adjust. Her new family should be patient and willing to give her the gentle encouragement she needs to feel safe and secure. In return, they'll have the joy of watching her gradually come out of her shell and engage in playful antics with her fellow kitties.

If you're looking for a shy but sweet cat who loves to explore and play with others, Gertrude is the perfect match. Adopt Gertrude today and give her the loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive.
