Please bring your items to AWL's Sorting Centre, 55 Kapara Road, Gillman.
We're there from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. If unattended, there are donation bins at the front.
If you'd like to donate useful items, we are always in need of
- blankets
- dog and cat toys
- small cardboard boxes
- egg cartons
- toilet rolls
- soft and hard treats like chews that take a while to get through
- cat litter
- towels
What about food?
We have a great partnership with Purina for pet food. As you know, pets don't like chopping and changing their diet, so we really can't use donated pet food.
Bedding
To keep costs low, we have purpose-made, easy to wash bedding for our pets. So, we can't put duvets, pillows or donated bedding to good use. Sorry.
Medication
Unfortunately, we aren't able to accept donations of medicine.
Bags of ice
We gratefully accept donations of bags of ice on hot days.
Clothes and bric-a-brac
You can donate clothes and bric-a-brac directly at any AWL Thrift Shop, or AWL's Sorting Centre, 55 Kapara Road, Gillman.
