You see, I can be a bit shy at first. It takes me some time to warm up to new people and environments. But don't let that fool you! Once I feel safe and comfortable, I'm a true gem waiting to shine.
I've been patiently waiting for the right family to come along - someone who understands that I need a little time to come out of my shell on my own terms. But let me tell you, when I do, I promise to be the most loving and affectionate companion you could ever ask for.
I dream of a home filled with gentle souls who will give me the space and patience I need to blossom into the confident kitty I know I can be. A cozy spot by the window where I can watch the world go by, a soft bed to curl up in, and plenty of chin scratches and ear rubs - that's all I ask for.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday, or our Edinburgh North location between 10am and 3pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note we no longer do walk throughs of cats or dogs in order to provide a calmer environment for them.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
