Dusty is a sweet boy who just needs a little time to feel safe.
At first, he may be very shy, but don't be fooled-this playful kitty loves to interact through games before he's ready for cuddles. Play is his way of building trust, and with a little patience, you'll see his affectionate side shine through.
Once Dusty knows you, he transforms into the ultimate smooch-machine, following you around and weaving between your legs-so be prepared for a little trip hazard!
Dusty also enjoys the company of the resident cat in his foster home. He finds comfort in having a feline friend around, so he may do well in a home with a calm, friendly cat who can show him the ropes.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
